Announcing My New Book: How to Tell Your Life Science (Company) Story

As a life science entrepreneur, the challenges are numerous and profound. Scientists learn to tell science stories in a very different way (focus on the facts) from how most people ingest stories (“Dude. Cut to the chase”).

But suppose you’re a scientist who has elected to go out on your own and start a company. You will soon realize that entrepreneurship is as much personal development and storytelling as it is business.

You have to figure out your own story and your company’s story in a way that catches people’s attention and makes it interesting. You have to figure out how to tell the story in a way that is memorable - or sticky - and gets your audience asking for more.

That’s why I wrote HOW TO TELL YOUR LIFE SCIENCE (COMPANY) STORY for you.

It’s a book based on the dozens of writing books I’ve read and the hundreds of articles I’ve written, and the companies I’ve worked with over the years.

The book explains what a story is, what makes great stories, and how great stories make great brands. It will help you understand your audience and build a group of fans. The book also gives an overview of content marketing and describes how to use thought leadership marketing to its advantage.

It’s a short book. I’m also giving it away for free.

Your job is to change the world, maybe not overnight, but one story at a time. To create moments that take people from their ordinary lives to the places where things are better for them because you made them so. To become a relentless defender of nature and a promoter of the use of biotechnology to improve lives. To challenge the status quo in more ways than ever.

Knowing how to tell your story is at the core of being human. It’s at the heart of being an entrepreneur, at the core of being free.

So, check out my new book. Download it. Implement what you learn. And please tell me what you think.

Good luck. We’re here to help.
